Below are the Committee Descriptions:


Architectural Guidelines Committee
This committee will aid in the development of the rules and regulations that will govern such items as house color, appearance modifications, fences and other specific items that may be determined to fall into the area of responsibility of this committee.

Communications Committee
This committee will develop and maintain those systems deemed important to the goal of effectively and efficiently informing and communicating with all residents of Covington Estates. Those areas currently are seen to be a Covington Estates Website, A Newsletter, An E-Mail system for communicating to and from residents and the board, A resident directory, and any other vehicles as might be appropriate.

Social Committee
This committee will plan, organize, and execute those activities normally associated with neighborhood parties, garage sales, and a neighborhod welcome committee as well as any other activities that may normally fall under the group.

Neighborhood Watch
This committee will organize and operate a system usually known as Crime Watch modified as appropriate for our community.

Landscape Planning
This committee will be responsible for developing a landscaping plan for all HOA owned property and to advise the HOA board on the implemention priorities and schedule.

Ad Hoc Committee
This group will be made up of individuals with expertise in specific areas of need which will vary from time to time. The current needs are in the areas of legal and finance.
